March 19th | Entrepinay Day 2022

Since 2020, we have observed "Entrepinay Day" on the 19th of March during Women's History Month. It was on March 19th, 1731, that Gabriela Silang, a revolutionary who fought against Spanish colonizers, was born. On this day we celebrate entrepinays around the world and remember Gabriela's fighting spirit, a trait many believe are essential in the entrepreneurship and leadership path.
As we emerge from the global pandemic, we created an in-person and virtual Entrepinay Day intended to renew our fighting spirit by focusing on self-care, connections, and activities that help replenish our community for the journey ahead.

Move - Center yourself during a Qi Gong session, led by Melissa Roxas of Little Sage Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Inspire - Hear from keynote speakers, Lara Estrada, founder and owner of Yoga Bliss LA and Yoga Journey Deck and Celeste Perez, co-founder of Droplet.
Connect - Our Kumare Circles or small group circles are back and facilitated by our community members: Camille Aragon (2021 RISE Scholar and Grantee), Cheryl Deptowicz-Diaz, Azelle Santa Ana, and Sharon Senko
Part 2: Fill Your Purpose featuring Rechie Valdez, the first Filipina MP in Canada, and Jessica Caloza, the first Filipina Commissioner of Public Works in Los Angeles
